A student affairs professional based in Palo Alto, California, Orlando T. White has served as an associate dean of residential education at Stanford University since 2020. Working with various campus partners, Orlando T. White manages more than $300,000 in funds supporting the training and development of nearly 500 undergraduate resident assistants. In 2016 and 2018, he earned recognition as Advisor of the Year from regional chapters of the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH).
Previously, Orlando T. White spent eight years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, first as a residential life coordinator and then as an assistant director of residential education. He also served as residence life coordinator at the Art Institute of Philadelphia and building manager at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
An Ullmann Scholarship recipient and Benji Award winner, he holds a bachelor of science in mass communications from Colorado State University-Pueblo. He then earned a master of public administration from the School of Public Affairs at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society. Outside of his professional interests, he enjoys traveling and pursuing health and fitness goals.
